HarperLloyd is partnering with a Brisbane-based commercial law firm to appoint a Corporate and Commercial Lawyer to join its North Lakes team (with flexible and remote working arrangements available).

Role Snapshot
- Corporate and Commercial Lawyer role within a Brisbane-based boutique commercial specialist practice
- North Lakes / remote working with highly flexible arrangements available
- Approximately 5 years PAE (open to broader experience depending on fit)
- Role created due to significant growth and planned team expansion
The Opportunity
- Join a firm in an active scale-up phase, targeting substantial growth over the coming years
- Early-stage opportunity to influence how the team and practice develops
- Highly flexible working model, including the option for predominantly remote work
- Strong emphasis on autonomy, individual development, and non-traditional law firm structure
The Work
- Advise business clients across a broad range of commercial matters
- Draft and review contracts, terms and conditions, and commercial agreements
- Provide employment law advice to employers and general commercial advisory support
- Exposure to business structuring, transactions, IP, privacy, and commercial leasing matters
- Direct client engagement with growing SME and commercial clients

- Small current team led by a Principal with a mix of senior and junior lawyers
- Collaborative, non-hierarchical environment with direct access to senior practitioners

About You
- Qualified lawyer admitted in Queensland (or eligible for admission)
- Approximately 5 years PAE (open to other levels depending on experience)
- Experience in corporate and commercial law or transferable experience from commercial litigation
- Strong drafting, communication, and client-facing advisory skills
